The Pantone colour of the year 2014 is Radiant Orchid, a creative and embracing purple.
Or so they say.
I wasn’t particularly thrilled with it as a colour initially myself, but when I looked around at all the beautiful mauvey/lavender shades among the gorgeous fabrics in here I think I’m starting to come around. Have a look at these delicious numbers.
Starting with the stunning Romo Black Eden Wallcovering directly below, followed by the luxurious Leonida Velvet from Harlequin. This fabulous antique-looking velvet comes in some delicious jewel tones but I am loving this colour with the pinky accent cushions. Then the simple but lovely Christopher Farr ‘Span’ as a cushion and if you are just looking for a small accent, have a look at the always fabulous range of cushions from Designer Guild. Lastly the great Linden collection from Ashley Wilde available through Charles Parsons.
