MAISON DE JEU – REGLISSE

Stunning, and quite literally a House of Cards! Colourful antique playing cards are set against a deep black background in this luxurious designer fabric – a classic signature Christian Lacroix look, digitally printed on a rich cotton velvet. Name – literally House of Cards – a gaming house
MALMAISON – JONQUILLE
Fabric – FCL2486/02
This exquisite fabric features an extraordinary flowering of exotic blooms, treated in the unique Lacroix style with candy stripe overlays. The fabric is designed in the most beautiful colour combinations and is digitally printed on pure cotton satin with a soft glazed chintz finish. Malmaison relates to the Chateau Malmaison, bought by Joséphine de Beauharnais, Napoleon Bonaparte’s wife during the Directoire era
PECHE MIRACULEUSE – AURORE
Fabric – FCL2492/01
A shoal of wonderfully exotic tropical fish are given the inimitable Christian Lacroix treatment in this astonishing fabric! Digitally printed onto cool, smooth cotton satin this luxurious fabric is yet another ‘must have’ Lacroix design. The name literally translates as ‘Miraculous Catch’.
CIEL LIBERTE – AURORE
Fabric – FCL2496/01
An incredible fabric – cloudy abstract image jacquard woven in Italy; a real testament to the art and technical skill of the weaver. The name Ciel Liberté refers to the ‘wind of liberty’ that swept through society prior to the revolution.
BAGATELLE – REGLISSE
Fabric – FCL2495/01
Our Bagatelle fabric is a truly exotic panorama representing the Parc de Bagatelle on the outskirts of Paris that was a gathering place for popular festivities in the Directoire era. Digitally printed on smooth cotton satin.
PICASSIETTE – RÉGLISSE
A striking yet subtle mosaic design constructed from fractured shards of China, in glowing colours mostly with a lustrous sheen.
CABANON – CAVIAR
A fabulous and functional printed cotton mix stripe, with bands of painterly tone creating washes of colour. This design represents Lacroix’s bestselling Sol y Sombra silk stripe fit to the demands of upholstery.
